ChopChop kid-friendly cooking magazine

A brightly colored mag catering to the younger set is aiming to combat child obesity, one recipe at a time.

ChopChop’s debut issue includes 11 recipes, tips for budding chefs and kitchen basics, according to Boston.com.

The free 32-page quarterly publication for elementary schoolchildren will be distributed in more than 30 states at pediatric practices throughout the country, with its first set already delivered.

The founder of the magazine, cookbook author Sally Sampson, is hoping ChopChop will go monthly soon.
