Yes indeed, there’s more to the Washington DC fashion scene than power suits and pumps, and one magazine is dying to show you, according to a recent interview at We Love DC. Enter WORN, a magazine dedicated to “make DC a more art- and style-conscious city” by valuing personal expression.
The magazine, edited by former Vanity Fair contributor Nicole Aguirre and photo head honcho Joshua Yospyn (former street style photographer for The Washington Post), caters to a younger, urban crowd that trolls each and every rack to find their ultimate look.
The publication officially launched today at a few DC stores (Redeem, Treasury, Durkl) and is hoping to add on more locations as the magazine grows. Check out the blog, launched about a month before the print kickoff, complementing the publication with behind-the-scenes looks at Worn’s creation.
