A new webzine launching Tuesday has one purpose: to get you to love women’s soccer. Our Game Magazine has a hefty promise, according to the Bleacher Report, of offering “a creative, unique perspective like no magazine has ever done before.”
And what better perspective to offer than the players themselves? At least, that’s what founder and president of global women’s soccer agency Connect World Football Khaled El-Ahmad thought. Other players, er, contributors, to the sports mag include Editor-in-Chief and member of the Boston Breakers, Tiffany Weimer, Leslie Osborne (also Boston Breakers) Kat Galsim (correspondent for the Bleacher Report), Carmelina Moscato (Canadian player) and others.
Though there’s not a website yet for Our Game, the curious can find a Facebook page or follow on Twitter to get the latest. No word yet on how many issues or how often it’ll publish, but there’s still time – the Women’s World Cup is still a year away.
