Virgin Considering Entering Virgin Publishing Waters

Virgin has big plans for spreading the word—but you won’t find a magazine here. At least, not in the traditional sense.

Advertising Age reports the new title, Maverick, will be only available on iPad, iPhone and eventually Android as an application beginning in October. The title is still seeking big name brands for its advertising, but according to Advertising Age it seems to be doing OK. Maverick will focus on entrepreneurial efforts and target an elite international audience.

Virgin is sharing its glory with publishing company Seven Squared, whose website detailing the latest iPad endeavors suggests it knows the ins and outs of iPad projects.

It’s interesting to see how Virgin is embracing the iPad. First with Project and now Maverick.
