In response to Vanity’s Fair “New Hollywood Issue” and this year’s Fearless class, a new magazine is showcasing women of color—and they’re famous, too.
Fearless magazine is meant to showcase women of color, and women of power, and follows the controversy of Vanity Fair’s purely white cover.
The celebs for the launch issue are Tia Mowry, Naturi Naughton, Monique Coleman, Jennifer Freeman, Kyla Pratt, Tiffany Hines, Chyna Layne and Lauren London. Arian Simone heads the magazine as its editorial director, and described Fearless magazine in an article as fashion-forward, free-spirited and forever fun.
The new mag, also available in digital format, is available quarterly with a cover price of $4.99. Both digital and print subscriptions offer a year’s subscription for $15.
