isPermaLink="false">http://engage.tmgcustommedia.com/?p=6465#comment-9941

"If the election were decided on Twitter instead of at the ballot box, the Leader of the Free World would most likely be a Canadian-born pop singer named Justin Bieber." Best bolded sentence in a blog post ever. Congrats!
"Content aggregator" is a scary term. All I can picture is a giant server in a very poorly-lit room that smells weird. I would not like that to describe me or anyone else, but I think it's very true that sharing your inspiration with others will only bring good returns in the end; a journalist who exists in a bubble is by no means a successful journalist.
Finally, "If you’re simply pumping out tweets like newspaper headlines, your followers are apt to treat you like a newspaper and leave you on the bus"--YES. I'd also add that, while sharing is great and is what services like Twitter are built on, oversharing (in terms of quantity, not content) can be brutal. I've certainly wanted to unfollow people based on them posting wayyyy too often. With as much content is out there, getting inundated with things from one source can be like Justin Bieber getting trampled by tweens: not appealing.

“If the election were decided on Twitter instead of at the ballot box, the Leader of the Free World would most likely be a Canadian-born pop singer named Justin Bieber.” Best bolded sentence in a blog post ever. Change on the Internet really ruffles people's feathers, but most of the time it's easy to grow accustomed to the changes, and you feel a bit silly for feeling such fuss at the beginning. There's stages: confusion, upset, bonding with others over said confusion, complaining, threatening to quit, then either quitting or carrying on and realizing why the redesign happened in the first place, hardly remembering what the website was like before. Acceptance. This is what seems to happen with every new iteration of Facebook.

Lovely post.
